Forest Fertilization

Forest fertilization is the process of correcting soil deficiencies by the addition of nutrients and essential elements to improve tree growth and in some cases survival. Forest fertilizers can be applied aerially or by a ground rig.  Fertilization can mean shorter timber rotations and higher returns on your timber investment.  Fertilization can increase tree size, volume and therefore value at a greater rate than otherwise would be possible.  Fertilization is expensive and is based on your timber stand’s nutrient requirements.
