Southern Forestry Consultants, Inc. is a natural
resource management and consulting firm providing services to non-industrial,
industrial, non-governmental, and governmental organizations in
the Southeastern United States. With a family of companies, including
The Wildlife Company, Southern Forestry Realty, and Southern Development
Group, we address issues of importance for all landowners of timber
and farm land. Formed in 1988 in Bainbridge, Georgia, to provide
forestry consulting services to the north Florida and southwest
Georgia areas, the companies now additionally operate offices in
Monticello, Florida and Enterprise, Alabama and serve clients from
Texas to Virginia. Major areas of emphasis include forestry consulting,
wildlife consulting, including game and non-game management, environmental
resource issue management, environmental auditing, land and timber
appraisals, prescribed burning, reforestation, natural resource
management plans, real estate sales and acquisition brokerage, and
real estate development and enhancement services.
We are committed to providing our clients with the most current and technologically advanced array of services, while never retreating from the basic concept of providing the highest level possible of personal service. Each project we undertake receives the full attention of our dedicated staff of foresters, biologists, and real estate agents. We work as a team and often pull together several staff members to ensure the most complete combination of experience and expertise to address the issue(s) at hand.

U.S. Forest Service Chief Abigail Kimbell announced today key personnel changes within the Agency.
An independent panel study, conducted by The Brookings Institution, found that the Forest Service and Department of the Interior exercised appropriate fiscal diligence during the 2007 wildfire season.
In an effort to reconnect kids with nature and attract new diverse communities to outdoor activities, the U.S. Forest Service has partnered with state, local and federal land management agencies to celebrate 'National Get Outdoors Day' on June 14.
